Green Living feature :)

I just found this link today.  This was really a pleasant surprise at the beginning of this year. Thank you Ola Ceriola & the Green Living team! :)

I'm pasting the text below but please click the link: http://greenliving-tv.com/2013/01/19/sinag-de-leon/

True to her name, Sinag de Leon is indeed a ray of light as she serves as inspiration for many people. Her art embodies her nationalism and her passion for the environment.
Papercut art making has been a long lost Filipino folk art. This is mostly because making one piece of art takes a lot of patience. The intricacies of coming up with complicated patterns can only be mastered through creativity and constant practice.
Sinag tells us a story about her childhood as she is part of a family of artists. She learned papercut art making from a child craft book and through the encouragement of her father. As a growing woman, her parents showed her how beautiful our country is. This is coupled with her adventures as a triathlete and a mountaineer.
At present, her greatest mission is to show this appreciation through her art pieces. Just like her, every one of them is a pleasant surprise.
