I instantly got attracted to this blog's name as I browsed through the list of entries in the Mindanao Blog Directory (MindanaoBloggers.com). Davao holds a dear place in my heart, probably because it's the one place in Mindanao where I've been to the most number of times. Through the years, I have been enriched with a lot of fond memories of Davao and got to know a lot of beautiful souls nurtured by that lovely place.
When I clicked its URL, true to it's description, this blog proved to be very much a guide and introduction to "the places to see, food, events, and people of Davao". Anyone who has been to Davao would greatly appreciate how easily the blogger, Blogie, describes the mouth-watering food, the numerous sights and sounds one could find there.
One thing I admire about this blog is that it basically tells stories. I'm a sucker for stories with local color, that's why I appreciate all the bits and pieces that Blogie churns about Davao's culture, history, people and events, day in and day out. It's also interesting to note that the blogger offers a good mix of serious, enlightening and trivial posts - ranging from topics like Davao's fruits, restaurants, clubs, the Kalimudan festival, Davao City's concerns, to the Mindanao Blogger's Summit and defending the Filipina honor.
In closing, I would like to recommend angdabawenyo.com to everyone as it is a delight to the senses and delicious food for the soul. It is easy to read through the stories and the screen is not cluttered. It caters to everyone because of its exciting and inspiring manner of presentation. It also helps that the pictures are of good quality. I plan to visit this blog more often. Kudos to Blogie!
